CHOCOLATE PRODUCTS

Orley Foods manufacture a wide range of chocolate products varying in viscosity, yield value and particle size depending on customer requirements. Orley is able to supply both couverture and non-tempering (compound) chocolate products which are ideal for a host of applications – such as coating, dipping, enrobing, filling, inclusion, topping and moulding.
We are the largest supplier of bake-stable chocolate chips in South Africa and also produce discs and slabs in milk, dark, white, caramel, yoghurt and fruit varieties.

The Orley Foods Development team are able to customise chocolate products to meet your specific requirements. Orley offers both Lauric and Non-Lauric chocolate coatings.

Lauric Coatings
  non-tempering chocolate
formulation from fully refined fractioned palm kernel and/or coconut oil giving a hardness, mouth feel and flavour release equal to cocoa butter
temperature of molten coating should be between 35 – 42 ° C
storage life – use within six months of purchase
 
Non - Lauric Coatings
  non-tempering chocolate
  specially formulated from selected fractionated non-lauric vegetable fats (cocoa butter substitutes) is compatible with cocoa butter
  does not crack
  excellent gloss
  extended shelf life of finished products
  resistant to bloom
  does not develop a ‘soapy’ flavour therefore ideal for use in granola bars, enrobing health biscuits and high moisture content products such as marshmallows
 

Orley Foods is able to offer a variety of specialist markets including dairy free and sugar free.

Chocolate supplied by Orley is Kosher and Halaal.
